ÄÌÎôÖ±²¥ is seeking a Head of Biopharma Biostatistics to run a global biostatistics department. This role involves strategic and operational oversight of biostatistics and statistical programming activities. The successful candidate will be a key member of the biopharma leadership team, ensuring high-quality, timely and budget-friendly statistical deliverables.

Responsibilities:

• Design clinical development plans, clinical trial protocols, and statistical analysis plans in collaboration with our biopharma partners.
• Lead and oversee statistical deliverables including execution of statistical analyses, interim safety and efficacy reports, clinical study reports, and scientific manuscript development.
• Foster collaborative relationships with Sponsors and project team members, serving as a point of contact for project statistical deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory practices and industry data standards.
• Attend and present at external statistical conferences and workshops.
• Implement biostatistical best practices based on knowledge of advanced biostatistical methodology and leading industry trends.
• Oversee successful delivery of biostatistics and statistical programming services to our biopharma clients.
• Collaborate with global department leadership to ensure sufficient resourcing.
• Lead statistical projects including managing budgets, timelines, deliverables, and change orders.
• Lead biopharma related business development activities on behalf of the global biostatistics department.
• Provide input into professional development and technical training standards for the global biostatistics department.
• Supervise biostatistics and statistical programming staff providing mentorship, feedback and conducting performance reviews.
• Participate in recruiting activities for new biostatistics department staff and contribute to hiring decisions.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• MS or PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, or Epidemiology.
• Experience in a biostatistics environment.
• Knowledge on leading biostatistics related activities in the biopharma setting or in the CRO setting for biopharma clients.
• History in team leadership and project management.
• Ability to develop strategies for future growth, set goals, and communicate and implement strategies.
• Ability to lead and build effective teams and foster collaboration across broad groups or functions within the organization.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with business judgment.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts, both written and oral.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required for interfacing with all levels of management.
